Grief, transitions, and new beginnings

It’s been a month since I started my website and here goes my third post. I’m practicing self-compassion when it comes to the start of this writing practice. I’ve been going through different stages of grief in the aftermath of the Atlanta shooting where six Asian women were murdered. I’ve also been cultivating a new routine after quitting my job, visiting family out of town, and now back at my home stead. It’s been a month!

These aren’t excuses. Rather, contextualizing the pause in my public writing practice and giving myself grace where and when needed.

That said, I’m ready to launch into a more regular writing routine with accountability from my friends and partner, and I’m excited about what I can do here. Thanks for reading and see you soon.
